University Partnership Program: A Pioneer in Higher Education

With state support down and campus enrollment numbers increasing across college campus’s, universities are now pursuing creative partnerships with companies to help offset costs. Among a handful of universities pioneering these broad relationships is UC Berkeley’s University Partnership Program (UPP).

Through the two-year-old University Partnership Program, Berkeley now has wide-ranging relationships with five partners which include contractual obligations for the companies to set aside broader campus support for scholarships, internships, sustainability initiatives and other campus programming.
