Governance Model

University Partnership Program (UPP) is guided by a comprehensive governance model that ensures participation by campus stakeholders to ensure alignment with our values as a public university through a "bottom-up" approach.

Ultimately, any partnership must support the university’s mission, be aligned with its values and benefit the campus community.

The UPP Governance Model follows a bottom-up, decision-making approach

The UPP Governance Model starts with input from campus stakeholders before moving on to specific industry working groups. Working group evaluations are then passed on to the UPP Advisory Committee. Advisory Committee recommendations are then passed on to the Finance Committee for final approval.
